I've Been Ousted
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.-Proverbs 29:2
Apparently there has been a coup among the other writers here at Guilty Addictions directed toward me. Odd that this should happen the night before the election. After an admittedly long period in between writing anything I have come back to not only having a locked account, but all of previous articles have been removed from the site. I am sure if accusations are leveled at the rest of the writers for the site they will blame the lack of updates to the site itself or some other bullshit like an outside attack by Russians or the Chinese. However, I, much like our President as of writing on the eve of the 2020 election, am under constant attack by liberal insiders for going against the grain and attempting to drain the swamp in order to exploit its valuable natural resources. But rest assured readers, this is number one bullshit. You know this.
Truly I am hated for trying to tear down the system from the inside out by utilizing the expertise of those who are thoroughly embedded in said system and have absolutely no reason at all to want to rig the system more in their and their friends' favor. It is incredibly tough fighting for the everyman the way that I do on a consistent basis. Everyday I incur tremendous losses in order to better our nation and the lives of those most vulnerable within it. There is no way I am using my power and influence on this incredibly influential and popular medium in order to benefit myself and my family. It is just a coincidence that this blog also has a relative of mine writing on it. We only hire those most qualified for a position and would never attempt to gain monetarily as a direct result of the positions we hold. Anyone claiming that this is nepotism is either a bot or someone who hates freedom and spits on the flag.
I suppose this post isn't going to be as long as my previous posts, if you ever read them in the first place. I am on a bit of a time crunch here and honestly I'm just as burnt out and frustrated as the rest of you. We're all in the same boat right now. Whether you're burnt out on your freedoms being trampled by having to wear masks in order to protect your fellow Americans, or waiting on true accountability from the law enforcement officers who are supposed to be in a serve and protect mindset but have become mutated into some grotesque "sheepdog" who see everyone else as sheep or wolves in some perverse game of life or death, hell bent on protecting their pensions and fellow officers above all else, we are all burnt out. Everything and everyone seems to suck just a little more than usual right now.
I could spill my thoughts and feelings of rage and sadness out into this post in some cathartic release meant really only for my own personal satisfaction. Or, I could continue to try make light of what is an incredibly important time and make jokes about how I'd rather get my penis caught in my zipper than watch another stupid political ad. I won't do that tonight though. I'm not going to use my privilege to downplay the importance of exercising a right which was denied to a great many within our nation's history. The right to vote for some is something which people have fought and died for in the streets of America.
I won't be able to shed light on some new information about either candidate that you likely don't already know or can't find from a more reputable source. I can only urge you to look at what is out there and use your best judgement to vote in the way you see fit. I understand the frustration that may lead some to casting a protest vote against Biden due to some past questionable legislation or to throw mud in the face of the DNC because of the lack of support of Sanders or any other more progressive candidate. I did not vote for Biden in the Democratic Primary. He was not my first choice. But, I would urge you to vote for him now.
I don't believe Donald Trump to be the ultimate evil. He is not Hitler reincarnated. He is however, only out for himself. He does not care about the common, everyday, middle class American worker, either blue collar or white collar. He is genuinely morally bankrupt just as many of his "successful" businesses are financially bankrupt. He is only interested in what will add to his personal power and influence. He is not a good example of a Christian, if he even is one. He is a con man running perhaps the greatest con in American history. I don't think I will ever be able to understand how one can be persuaded to vote for him, but I will try not to begrudge those that do unless you believe Q conspiracies or vote for him based on white identity politics, in which case I hope you experience nothing but personal loss and tragedy.
Oh, and please refrain from burning down the country if your choice loses. America is kind of fucked up, but it's my country and I'm kind of partial to it.
